The kitchen was painted over the weekend; and at long last the light renovation was finished. I’ll post pics soon.

The result of this weekend’s chores however, was that we ate out a lot and haven’t gone shopping yet for the week, still my pantry is pretty well stocked, so we don’t need much. I’m sticking to fairly straightforward recipes this week (the Grillades is the only new recipe), so we’ll see how it goes.

  • Produce – 4 tomatoes (Montreal steak subs, grillades)
  • Produce – 2 bell peppers (beef tacos, salads, grillades)
  • Produce – Vegetables (as sides & for lunches)
  • Soda – 1 flat (lunches)
  • Soda – 1 flat, diet (lunches)
  • Dairy – 2% milk, 4 liters (breakfasts, snacks)
  • Dairy – Yogurt (low fat, no sugar) (lunches)
  • 1/2 lb pepperoni (Montreal steak subs, grillades)

The leftovers:

  • 4x mini pot pies (to be baked and filled).
  • 1L homemade pea soup (heat and serve).
  • 500ml barbecue sauce (homemade)
  • 4 cups stuffing (needs to be baked before it can be used); use in crab cakes
  • Honey garlic chicken breasts (easy meal — ready to cook)
  • 1 cup couscous (cooked)
  • 1 pk crab (frozen)
  • 2 cup ham (diced)
